👨🏼‍🌾A white wine made by Muriel Giudicelli.

A pure Vermentino, aged in oak barrels, reveals a carefully selected aromatic palette: a touch of white flowers, candied lemon and a mineral side that makes all the difference. The Magnum is the ideal size to shine. In the mouth it has an incredible freshness, a saline minerality and a length that takes us on a journey to the Corsican coves. Muriel shows us once again the work resulting from her gigantic and communicative passion.

Muriel Giudicelli, head of Domaine Giudicelli, produces exceptional wines on twelve hectares mainly located in the Patrimonio and Muscat du Cap Corse appellations. Located in Poggio d'Oletta, in the hinterland of Saint-Florent, the estate was taken over by Muriel and her husband Stéphane at the end of the 1990s. The estate is cultivated biodynamically and Demeter certified, excluding the use of pesticides or herbicides. The vines, influenced by the varied terroirs of Cap Corse, Agriates and the Sant'Angelo mountain, are cared for according to the lunar calendar and protected by natural decoctions. The harvests are done by hand and the vinifications use indigenous yeasts, without the addition of oenological products, with the exception of a little sulfur. Muriel Giudicelli, inspired by winemakers such as Jean Boxler for white wines and Maria-Teresa Mascarello for red wines, has adopted winemaking methods that give finesse and personality to her wines. The white wines are directly pressed slowly, while the reds undergo "infused" macerations and long aging in stainless steel vats and Stockinger tuns, for 18 to 22 months depending on the vintage. The estate's white wines are distinguished by their precision, finesse, elegance and purity. The red wines, for their part, are appreciated for their bright fruit and refined texture. The complexity of the wines results in part from the diversity of the terroirs and local grape varieties, meticulously cultivated and vinified.

Who are we ?

Created in 2010, Vinograf was taken over in July 2024 by Clara & Baptiste. With their experience with Marée Haute, they work to perpetuate Vinograf's strong commitments: a careful selection of established or novice artisan winemakers, all driven by the concern for excellence in their practices, in the magnification of terroirs and the search for authenticity of taste.

Several specifications correspond to these names. If we very often hear about sulphites, rightly accused of giving a headache, many other products can be used in the composition of so-called conventional wines.
Here is an overview of the different organic, biodynamic and natural specifications:
The organic specifications (AB label) prohibit any use of synthetic chemicals in the vineyards and in the winery. However, it allows some oenological crutches during winemaking. Sulfites, for example, are tolerated up to 100 mg/L for red wines and 150 mg/L for whites.

In biodynamics (Demeter or Biodyvin label), the winemaker not only works without synthetic chemicals, but also takes into account the lunar calendar for all the operations he carries out. He will also use biodynamic preparations (fermented horn dung, silica, plant herbal tea, etc.) to strengthen the vines. Overall, the winegrower seeks to include the cultivation of the vine in a global environment. Sulphites can go up to 70 mg/L for reds and 90 mg/L for whites.

In natural wine (Vin Method Nature label), the specifications specify the use of organic grapes, fermenting naturally using native yeasts (as in biodynamics). Natural wines see no input during all vinification and aging. Only minimum doses of SO2 are permitted (30 mg/L maximum), and must be mentioned by the winemaker. No brutal filtration or wine alteration techniques are permitted. We also find the name SAINS Wines which aims to completely prohibit the use of sulphites.

We strive to offer you wines from artisan wines, from estates on a human scale and often family-owned. And that's why we take the time to travel across France from vineyard to vineyard in search of these natural wines that thrill us.
We are particularly keen to introduce you to the new winegrowers of tomorrow who work tirelessly to offer us magnificent wines.
