Vulcain Cider House

Cidrerie du Vulcain, founded by Jacques Perritaz, is located in Treyvaux, in the canton of Fribourg, Switzerland. A former biologist, Jacques began producing ciders in the mid-2000s to make the most of abandoned fruit from local orchards. His meticulous, artisanal production method features ancient varieties of apples, pears and quinces, producing complex, expressive ciders. Cidrerie du Vulcain ciders are distinguished by their minerality and rich fruity flavors, finding their place on the finest gourmet tables. The range includes products such as Brute de Rue, Trois Pépins, and Poiré Ginger Guyot. Jacques Perritaz uses sustainable and biodynamic practices, respecting the environment and local traditions.
