Domaine Hors Ciel

Domaine Hors Ciel, located in Montouliers in the Minervois region of Languedoc, was founded by Victor Gourreau and Emma Olson. Victor, the grandson of a winegrower and passionate about the world of wine since childhood, has acquired extensive experience in Italy, in sommellerie and wine tourism, as well as in fermentation via brewing and baking. Emma, whom he met in Portland during a bakery internship, shares his passion. In 2019, the couple will begin their first home winemaking with dames-jeannes. Motivated by these experiences, they buy 3 hectares of Mourvèdre in 2021, grown organically and biodynamically. Their first vintage is remarkable, with airy, fluid, fresh and balanced wines, the fruit of gentle extractions and infusions of Mourvèdre.
