Emmanuel Brochet
Emmanuel Brochet is a passionate winemaker based in Verzy, in the heart of the Champagne wine region. At the head of his eponymous domaine, he embodies the spirit of authentic, artisanal winegrowing. Emmanuel has inherited the family tradition, but has added his own personal touch by developing winemaking methods that bring out the expression of the terroir. The estate covers around 5 hectares, mainly planted with Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes. Emmanuel favours organic and biodynamic viticulture, banning the use of pesticides and herbicides. This approach respects the health of the soil and vines, producing grapes of exceptional quality. In the cellar, Emmanuel adopts traditional practices, with spontaneous fermentation and barrel ageing, which contribute to the complexity of his champagnes. He offers a range of cuvées, including vintage champagnes and reserve cuvées, which are distinguished by their finesse, elegance and low dosage. Emmanuel Brochet ‘s reputation was quickly established thanks to his passion for wine and his commitment to quality. His champagnes win over connoisseurs and critics alike, combining tradition and innovation to offer wines that capture the very essence of the Champagne terroir.
