Emmanuel Giboulot
Emmanuel Giboulot, an iconic Burgundy winemaker, is a true pioneer of organic viticulture. Since 1985, he has followed in the footsteps of his father, Paul Giboulot, who embraced a natural approach as early as the 1970s, before organic practices became a trend. Emmanuel took this further, moving toward biodynamics and achieving certification in 1996, a pivotal step in his commitment to nature and terroir.
Today, Emmanuel cultivates around 10 hectares of vines on unique soils, including 5 hectares in Côtes de Beaune. Each bottle reflects his passionate work and minimalist practices: natural yeasts, very low SO2, and carefully controlled barrel aging. Emmanuel Giboulot’s wines are pure, precise, and imbued with rare authenticity, offering an experience where the terroir truly shines through.
