Iserand Estate
Jean-François (Jeff) Malsert, after a career in the restaurant business, founded Domaine de l'Iserand in 2011 on land in Sécheras once farmed by his grandfather. This estate, located on the slopes of the Saint-Joseph appellation in the northern Rhône Valley, covers around 4 hectares of vines. Organically farmed, the vines are worked with mules, without chemical inputs, using traditional methods that respect the environment.
The estate's wines, mainly Syrah-based, are distinguished by their freshness, digestibility and airy character. They benefit from granite and mica-schist soils, which give them a unique minerality and complexity. Whether red or white, Domaine de l'Iserand wines express the purity and transparency of fruit, a testament to the care taken in their vinification.
