Julie Dufour
Julie is the sister of Charles Dufour, the emblematic winemaker of the Côte des Bar. After fifteen years working in IT in Paris, she decided to return to her native region. So she went back to school to take her BPREA and train to work in the vineyard. Once she had obtained her diploma, Julie took over 1/3 of the historic family estate. Since 2019, she has been making her own wine, in the same cellar as her brother Charles. Her first cuvée, Cléobuline, arrives in 2021, an organic champagne, a blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, lightly dosed. Since then, Julie has been writing the new pages of her story, chapter by chapter, just like the names of her cuvées. A winemaker in the making...
